However if you go into it without these expectations, you will be met with an incredible world, enchanted by a spectacular soundtrack that keeps the whimsical aura alive throughout the whole story.īeing that I read it in such a short time-span and that it as been about a year, I don”t remember the specific details of each character in that much details. If you go into this visual novel expecting to connect and relate to the main girls and then explore different psychological elements, then you will probably be disappointed. The story of Everlasting Summer, is more about the main character”s journey through solving these issues. My gripes with this novel come with the fact that the characters do not get much development and are not portrayed as being very deep. The setting is enchanting and mystical, without feeling forced or implausible. As the title I used suggest, this tale has a very strong atmosphere to it. The main draw is the premise, our main character Semyon being thrown into some form of “scout camp” at a moment where his life seemed like it was going nowhere.

I had a completely free weekend on my own at my apartment, and I decided to binge through it accompanied by pizza and my most comfy pajamas. Fresh out of my enjoyable experience from Katawa Shoujo, I was pointed towards the next free visual novel of choice, the Russian made Everlasting Summer.
